Ruffled Paper Frame

Isn't this SOOOOO cute?  I love seeing things and knowing that I could re-create them with my Stampin' Up! products!  It just gives me better sense of VALUE that I have for Stampin' Up!  They give us such a variety of products to use!  When I saw the new Floral Frame Framelits in the New Catalog, I just knew that lots of flowers would be popping up in my future.  Here is the first project I did using them!  And…that colorful Floral District Designer Paper is just too fun!  See the fun little bird from Betsy's Blossoms telling you to SMILE!  lol!  I crack myself up some times!

Wouldn't this be perfect as a mirror in a young teen's room?  Or place a photo over the mirror section. Use Designer Paper that coordinates with your room!  So many different ways to use it.  It started out just as an unfinished wood frame mirror and I quickly transformed it into a decorative piece!  (Note:  I have vellum over the mirror section so that the photo would turn out!)

SO…TODAY…leave a comment here on MY blog for BLOG CANDY...a FREE subscription to Create with Connie and Mary New Catalog 2012 Edition!  We'll announce the winners Sunday!  Don't worry…if you already have signed up to take advantage of the Early Bird Savings we'll apply your win to our next Holiday 2012 Edition!  You've gotten a taste of everyone's projects and what our tutorials look like…you are in for a treat for the rest of the 5 weeks!

AND…then go over to Create with Connie and Mary and grab my FREE TUTORIAL for making this project!  It is easy and fun…I know you'll love it!

What a super duper cute idea!  I can see a young girl or teenager going crazy for it the way it is.  Of course it would be easy enough to change it up to match any decor.  The new flower framelits are so pretty!

Hi Connie!  This is such a fun frame!  I love your dsp treatment and all the ruffles!  Great way to use up some scraps of paper too.  Would look so pretty with a black and white photo to make all the colors really pop.  Thanks for a chance to win.

Love the frame. There are so mant possibilities with this. I remember using fabric to make a Christmas tree on a styrofoam base years ago with this technique. May have to try it again with the SU fabrics and a mirror.
