Today’s challenge was to use this bedding ensemble as inspiration for our card! I love the striking colors. For my card, I wanted to stay with the simple clean lines shown in the bedding. I chose the One of a Kind medallion to represent it (wish I’d have had True Friend!) I also wanted a large greeting to take up most of the white space on the card. Life is Good fit perfectly!
I stamped Life is Good with Basic Black on Whisper White. Then I cut 1/4" strips of black cardstock to make the border on two sides. The Medallion is stamped with Craft Black, then embossed with Clear Embossing powder and cut out. I used the small center with a Build-A-Brad (I hadn’t used those in a while!). The whole flower is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally made it home last night from my stamping class out of town about 12:15 AM. My son and his girlfriend rolled in around 12:45 AM . They ran into construction going thru Indianapolis. We plan to spend a fun time with them this weekend. Having family over tonight for a cookout, too. Weather is gorgeous for it!
