Bouquet Bunch – TSSC122
I loved Mary Jo's Technostamper Lunchtime Sketch this week, so I had to find some time to make a card up real quick! Stampin' Up!'s Bouquet Bunch stamp set is still sitting out on my desk, so I grabbed it for this card.
I started by cutting the Whisper White oval with the Ovals #2 Bigz Die, I used the largest one. I made a mask of the flower pot, so I could slightly stack them behind each other. I stamped the pots in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. Then I stamped the long stem, leaves and flowers to fill the pots. I used my Sponge Daubers and colored the flowers with Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie in one pot and Regal Rose and Ruby Red in the other pot. The pot with leaves I colored with Old Olive and Garden Green.

Then I used Kaleidoscope Designer Paper for the background behind the Oval element. I layered the print pattern on Garden Green Cardstock. I wrapped some So Saffron Striped Ribbon around and tied with a knot. I stamped Thank You from Stampin' Up!'s Teeny Tiny Wishes in Chocolate Chip on So Saffron, then punched with the Curly Label Punch. All this was placed on a layer of Regal Rose Cardstock and then the base of So Saffron cardstock.
Finally, I stamped the leaves again with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink four times and colored with the Old Olive and Garden Green Classic Inks. I punched them out with the 1" Circle Punch and adhered them in a row at the bottom of the card.
A fun sketch! I hope you have a wonderful day!

A Rose is a Rose…
I love roses, and especially this color…Apricot Appeal with a touch of Cameo Coral on the edges. I think they are called the Peace Rose? I used to have a beautiful rose bush with these colors! Gorgeous! These are the two colors that I will definitely stock up on before they retire.
This challenge is also for No Time To Stamp's 3D Flower challenge (ssnotime137)! What a great idea! I've seen some beautiful 3D flowers out there and I'm always anxious to learn more ways to craft them.
I knew when I saw MOJO Monday's sketch #134 that I wanted to use one of the roses I made when teaching "everyone" how to do them at the stamping retreat in March! They have just been sitting in my studio waiting to be used. I use the XL Fancy Flower Punch to make mine. Last session, I did a little tutorial on how to make them over on Create with Connie and Julie, too! They are LOTS of fun and look so different when you use different colors!

I started with a base of Apricot Appeal cardstock and added a layer of Cameo Coral. On top of that I used the Kaleidoscope Designer Paper in both the green bubble print and the apricot stripe pattern. I added the Scallop Edge punches to the bottom of the stripe design pieces.
I made the Apricot Appeal Rose using the XL Fancy Flower punch in the Occasions Mini and layering it. I inked up the edges with a sponge dauber and Cameo Coral. The leaves are made with the 5 Petal Punch and Garden Green cardstock, then crimped with the Crimper Tool. I adhered the Rose to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Finally, I stamped Happy Mother's Day stamp from Stampin' Up!'s All Holidays Stamp Set in Garden Green on Whisper White and layered it on Garden Green cardstock. I used my Piercing Tool and Mat to make the piercing decorations in the two corners.
I love how this turned out and think I'll give it to my mom for Mother's Day, since I can hand it to her with her gift.
Lots to do today. I need to work on my Control Freaks swap for the Summer Mini! I want to get that mailed out tomorrow. Have a great day!

Stamping 411 – For All You Do
Boy…did I catch flack today from some of my friends and favorite stampers! They noticed that I haven't been blogging frequently this past week! Sorry about that…as I said, the past couple weeks have just really been busy for me with things outside of stamping!
Today, Selene has another Stamping 411 sketch! Lots of fun and easy to do, so make sure you play along and link your card to Mr. Linky over on Stamping 411. We look at all your submissions and then take a little vote! Your card may end up on our Showcase! How fun!

This card uses is one of my favorite sets, Stampin' Up!'s For All You Do, and again I'm using some of the Kaleidoscope Designer Paper! What can I say…it just is one of my favorites for spring cards right now!
I took my colors from the Designer paper and used Bermuda Bay to stamp the stem and added some So Saffron mini flowers along it. I stamped the large flower in Pixie Pink and cut it out. I added one of the jewels from the Round Ice Rhinestone brads…took it right out of the setting and used a Mini Glue Dot to place it. Looks pretty cool! I layered the Whisper White on Bermuda Bay cardstock and then Pixie Pink. I wrapped some Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon around it and tied. I placed that element over the Kaleidoscope Designer Paper and on the base card of So Saffron. Finally, I added the Thank You from For All You Do in Bermuda Bay Classic Ink on Whisper White and punched it with the Modern Label punch.
This card came together really quickly (good thing because it was 1:00 AM when I finished!) I'm going to sleep WELL tonight, I can tell you. I was on the road for 4 hours today to do a Punch Class. I always have a great time, though, and love visiting with my gal pals!
Vintage Vogue
Since my Kaleidoscope Designer Paper was already sitting out, I decided to make up another card. I wanted to show Vintage Vogue dressed up for spring! I love this set! The piece I cut from the Kaleidoscope DSP was PERFECT to hold a circle in the center and make it look like an extra mat. Totally unplanned!
I started with a base of Apricot Appeal cardstock and layered the Kaleidoscope DSP on Basic Black to make the colors pop! I used one side with the print and the other side was the stripe at the bottom. I cut a circle with my Circle Scissors Plus in the 2" size from Certainly Celery cardstock and stamped the vine image from Stampin' Up!'s Vintage Vogue stamp set. I added the Thank You from Short & Sweet set in Basic Black Classic Ink. The flowers I stamped on Very Vanilla in Apricot Appeal and Pretty in Pink and cut them out. The smaller flowers, I placed Apricot Appeal Mini Brads, the large flower has a Pretty in Pink floral button! I stamped and cut out two of the small leaves for the large flower. Finally, I added a Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon bow! Have I mentioned I LOVE the Satin Ribbon??? I'm still selling Ribbon Shares (in fact, I only need 1 more person to finish up the next order!) See more information HERE.
I'm starting on the countdown for my LONG weekend Stamping Retreat! We leave tomorrow afternoon. My girlfriend is coming in tonight! I can't wait to see her! But…I have LOTS to do before she gets here, so I'll cut this short!
Hope you have a great day!
