Our theme this month was the Occasions Mini! Well…that's a broad theme! I'm sure you'll get lots of new ideas!

My first projects uses…what else…Chocolate Bunny! What can I say…he just is a favorite of mine! I stamped him in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink on Close to Cocoa cardstock and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, then cut him out.
Can you tell what the carrot is made from? Yep! The Large Scallop Circle Die! I received one of these carrots for a swap at Leadership, but I changed out the colors and added the bunny in the top. I wanted to use a real chocolate bunny, but the ones I bought were too big. That's when I figured that my stamped one would work even better!
The base of the carrot is from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and I sponged the edges. The leaves of the carrot are Old Olive and also sponged. I used some fancy shredded paper to fill it. I punched two holes to be able to tie the Old Olive Satin Ribbon and help hold the edges closed. Then stamped Happy Easter from Well Scripted with Old Olive ink and punched with the Wide Oval Punch. Isn't it FUN???
My second project uses the Big Shot again with the Fancy Favor Box. I cut it from Pixie Pink cardstock and ran the Spring Floral Wheel in Pixie Pink Ink Cartridge across the bottom of it twice. I used the Wheel Guide to help me keep it straight!
On the front I made a bunny from punches! The face is a 1 3/8 circle of Pretty in Pink, the cheeks are 1" Whisper White circle punches and 3/4 Pretty in Pink circles layered in top. His nose is a Pixie Pink 1/2" circle. The whiskers are Sahara Sand slivers of cardstock. The eyes are actually Small Ovals cut down to a smaller size with 1/4" circles of Basic Black and highlighted with the White Gel Pen. The ears are Scallop Ovals from Whisper White and the Welcome Neighbors Designer Paper punched with the Large Oval Punch. I gave him a bowtie made from the Old Olive Satin Ribbon and the Old Olive handle is attached with Clear Rhinestone Brads.

I kept the back simple with just the Easter stamp from Eggcoutrements stamped in Old Olive Classic Ink on Whisper White and punched with the Designer Label punch. It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals!
I filled it with some multi-colored shredded paper. I was going to fill it with Jelly Beans, but my husband ate them all! lol!
Well, you can continue on the tour by clicking on the button to go to Mary Brown's Blog! I'm sure she'll have some fantastic projects! Have fun taking the tour!
Punch Bunny – Take 2
Sorry I was MIA yesterday, I had a fight with the 24 hour flu bug and it won! It made me miss travelling to do a class a couple hours away AND my hair appointment yesterday! Bummer. Good news is that I slept most of yesterday and last night, so I feel MUCH better! I haven’t been sick like that for quite a while.
I made up several of these Punch Bunny candy boxes to take to a stamping retreat to sell a couple weeks ago. I just have two left. Since this was a pretty small group of stampers and scrapbookers, I was pleased!
EDIT: These have been SOLD. Thanks to those that inquired! NOTE: I have 70 test tubes left from a bulk buy. If you are interested, please email me. Cost is 30 cents each, plus shipping to you…min of 10. (I will give preference to someone who wants them all.) The smaller jelly beans fit great, or nerds or plain M&Ms…anything small. I take Paypal (no credit cards).
I started with the Stampin’ Up! Bigz XL die, Box #2 cut from the Sale-A-Bration Designer Paper Delicate Dots and made the box. On the lid, I punched two 3/4" circles and then put the box together. I added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock (stamped in So Saffron with a retired egg design…the new wheel would be perfect, but I didn’t have it when I made these!) for the back (3 5/8 x 5 1/2) and adhered it to the inside wall of the box. The front I decorated with my Punch Bunny (1 3/8 and 1" circles for body, Small Oval for ears) punched from Going Gray and shaded with Going Gray ink around the edges. The tail is one of the Trio Flowers punch from Whisper White. The eggs were punched from Patterns Designer Paper in Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Lavendar Lace (I think this was a retired paper pack we carried at one time) with the small oval punch and cut in half. I cut a strip of Certainly Celery and used my scissors to make cuts for the "grass". Finally, I wrapped some Celery Twil Ribbon (another Sale-A-Bration bundle selection) around the back and the test tubes to hold them in place. (I placed a mini glue dot on the bottom of the test tube when I placed it in the box, too, to help hold them.) Easter Wishes was stamped with Basic Gray on Very Vanilla, punched with the 1-1/4 circle, layered on Certainly Celery 1 3/8 circle and finaly layered on So Saffron Scallop Circle punch. I used the 1/8 circle punch for the hole to tie it with the ribbon.
Hope you enjoy this little treat box!
