CCMC Saturday Blog Hop – Somewhere Over the Rainbow

This month on Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hops, we plan on getting you to sing along with some “oldies, but goodies’. Next up is the song “Somewhere over the Rainbow”…featuring rainbows or the colors of the rainbow! I don’t have any stamps with rainbows, so I used my Blossom Builder Punch to punch out flowers in different colors!

Scenic Sayings

Isn’t that fun? It almost has the curve of a rainbow…on the side at least! Here are the details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 This Whisper White, folded in half.
On the 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White, the greeting from Scenic Sayings was inked up with the Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Pacific Point Markers, then stamped towards the right side.
Three small flowers from the Blossom Builder Punch were punched from Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point cardstock and adhered on the front with Mini Glue Dots. The petals were curled up.
In the center of each flower is a Rhinestone Jewel…so it is very sparkly in real life!
