The ribbon shares are leaving the house! I made a post office run this morning and have another ready to leave tomorrow morning! Here's a look at all the wrapped ribbons waiting to be packaged. This is only part of them, I always forget to take a photo until I'm in the middle of sending them!

It's not too late to order…another order for ribbon is going in on Thursday night and I have a couple spots left in each share!

Blooming with Kindness

I've had this card for Technostamper's Monday Lunchtime Challenge TSSC266 done since Tuesday, but just getting the opportunity to photograph and upload it here on my blog! I didn't want to miss the deadline! Some weeks, where does the time go?

And here is my card using Stampin' Up!'s Blooming with Kindness and one of the new In Colors…Strawberry Slush! I love it paired with Pink Pirouette!

Here are the details:

The base card is 4 1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush, folded in half.
I added a layer of 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White.
I cut a strip of 2 x 4 3/4 Quatrefancy Designer Paper and placed along the left side.
On a piece of 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 Whisper White, I stamped the image by inking up the flower with Pink Pirouette first, then used markers to add Strawberry Slush and Always Artichoke accents. I stamped Thank You in Always Artichoke.
This was layered in 2 3/4 x 4 Always Artichoke cardstock.
I punched a strip of Pink Pirouette cardstock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and tucked half of it under the left side.
I added a 1/2 x 1 strip of the Quatrefancy DSP in the corner, cut with a flag end, then a large Rhinestone jewel on top!

I love the soft colors on this beautiful flower image!

Christmas Blessings 2

I'm back! Back from the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City! I had a WONDERFUL time seeing my fellow demonstrators and friends! I love going and getting re-charged with ideas…meeting NEW people…and seeing my OLD (not in age!) friends! THANK YOU to all of you that stopped me and said hi…that you enjoy reading my blog and getting ideas! I truly enjoyed meeting you and putting names with faces! To me…this is one of the best things about maintaining my blog…is the new people I've met! I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted…will take me a day or two to really catch up, I think! But, I'm anxious to get in my stamp room and start stamping!

I was blessed to walk across stage several times for awards…love that recognition…thanks to ALL my customers for helping me reach my goals this past year! And yes…now I have NEW ones…the Incentive trip is on the Allure of the Seas cruise ship to Western Caribbean! WOW! That is one AMAZING ship!

Here is one of the cards I made to swap with my SUDSOL group at Convention (if you want a 2 week free trial, click on the SUDSOL graphic on my right sidebar)…we had a fun time at lunch and swapping and took a group photo.

I wanted to create a card that could be used for your actual Christmas card using Stampin' Up!'s Christmas Blessings poinsettias and without having to color in the image.

Base card is Cherry Cobbler
Layer of Very Vanilla, run thru the Big Shot with the Petals a Plenty folder across the top 1/2
Add Be of Good Cheer DSP and greeting in Basic Black
Cut Apothecary Accent from Crumb Cake, stamp the poinsettia image on top in Cherry Cobbler
Punch a hole at the top and tie on Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
Add pearls to the centers of the flowers
Pop up the Apothecary Accent on top of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals

Bug Me

There are quite a few children's sets in the main catalog that are lots of fun! This one, Bug Me, was one of my favorites. I only wish Stampin' Up! would have included some fun "buggy" sayings in this set, too! Or had a complimentary set with some greetings! So…making a Happy Birthday card was the next best thing for me…that is mainly what I need for kids cards anyway.

I had a scrap of the Designer Paper from Pinwheels on Parade laying on my desk, so I built my card around the colors in it! The base is Midnight Muse and I layered on Baja Breeze and then the Designer Paper. I stamped the colorful catepillar from Bug Me on a strip of Whisper White by using my Summer Starfruit, Baja Breeze and Real Red markers to ink it up. It is layered on Real Red cardstock that I punched with the Scallop Border Punch along the bottom. I added a Summer Starfruit and Real Red flower cut from Floral Frame Framelits with a Dahlia button in the center! I've been hoarding them, and thought it was time to use one! Finally, I added the Teeny Tiny Wishes "Happy Birthday" greeting, stamped with Midnight Muse ink on Baja Breeze and cut with a flag on one end, then tucked under the flower that is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals!

It's a fun and cheerful card!

I'm ordering the next round of Ribbon Shares on Friday, so it's not too late to get in on any of the ribbons you want, not just the In Colors. Stampin' Up! ribbons are the BEST! I wrap them carefully around chipboard then place in a plastic bag so they stay nice and neat! You can see more details HERE!
