Here's a cute little project that I did for the SU Only Challenge featuring Boxes or Bags! I am using one of the cute little vellum bags out of the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit! I adapted it from a "gusset" bag to a flat bag so that my candy cane didn't rattle around in it! I was inspired by Tiffany Bauers Appletini drink mix favor that I saw.
But, I changed it up quite a bit for this challenge. Instead of using the Petite Pocket Die like she did, I switched it to the little vellum bag that I adhered the flap on the bottom closed to turn it into a pouch. I used Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper for a couple flags around the bag to make it a Christmas Theme. Stamped the margarita glass in Gumball Green and Candy Cane in Cherry Cobbler for the center 1 3/8" Circle, with a little Rhinestone in the glass. Then I adhered that to 1 3/4" Circle of Red Glimmer Paper for some REAL sparkle!
I
I used the Snowflake Die in the Holiday Mini and cut the Very Vanilla snowflake and tied the Gumball Green Stitched Ribbon around the left side. This is one of the ribbon spools you can choose FREE this month with a $40 order! What a deal! The Snowflake piece is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals on top of the Designer Paper flags around the bag. I added the greeting stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla, too. Inside the bag, I slipped a Candy Cane…it fits in there snug because the bag is now a pouch! Wouldn't this be cute at your Christmas Place Setting? Too fun!
Make sure to check out the rest of the SUO Challenge Design Team to see what they did this time with the Boxes and Bags theme!
