August Card of the Month!

I love this month’s kit…so bright and cheerful!

My Stampin’ Up! new catalog order arrived today! Yeah! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn’t get to play as much as I wanted to, but I did get to open up all the packages of designer papers I purchased (so much more YUMMY in person!) and set up my new Big Shot! Oh…love it!

For this card I used the Top Note Bigz Die cut from the new Ghostly Greetings designer paper. I folded it over and used it as the "card" on a cardfront base. Since the designer paper is double sided you get more bang for your buck, you can see both sides of it by using the die this way!

I think the skull paper is great…so cute! It matched the skull from Batty for You pretty well! Inside, I stamped Happy Halloween from the All Holidays set and punched it with the Word Window punch. The base of the card is the new Tango Tangerine and color blocked with the skull paper and Whisper White cardstock. The Kiwi Kiss word designer paper is fun, too.

Tomorrow I’ll be getting ready for my New Catalog Stamp Camp this Saturday. We’ll be doing several fun things!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 23 years and just had my 22nd Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May.
