Oh…here they are! lol! Don’t ask my why that saying popped into my head when I was thinking of a title for this post! Bizarre…lol!
Well, I’ve been in real production mode lately! I’ve mentioned that I have SO much going on over the next few weeks. Feels good to work ahead and get some things taken off my plate. However, it seems other things just keep on jumping onto those empty places! Anyone else feel that way? lol!
Another CAS (Clean and Simple) card for you today using Black and White. It is for the Late Night Stampers Design Team challenge this week to use our Big Shot.
I purchased the Flower Strip die a long time ago, but haven’t used it! I pulled it out when I pulled out the Swirly Strip die the other day. I ran the Flowers thru my Big Shot with Whisper White cardstock and layered onto Basic Black cardstock, then layered onto the base card of Whisper White. I rounded the bottom corners of the card with the Small Corner Rounder punch (I really like that look) and embossed the word Thanks from Thank You Kindly stamp set with White Craft ink and White Embossing Powder. As a finishing touch, I adhered some of the pretty Playground and Sherbet Designer Buttons in the centers of a few of the flowers. I trimmed the Flowers Strip so the buttons would be balanced on the front. I really liked how this turned out! The hardest part was getting the Mini Glue dots on the buttons!
Hope you have a wonderful day! Would LOVE to hear your comments on this card!
