Hello everyone! Aren’t we all anxiously waiting news from On Stage? Unfortunately I was unable to go again this time…bummer! So, I’m waiting right along with you! The theme for this week’s Create with Connie and Mary’s Saturday Blog Hop is “Don’t Be Square”…any type of card OTHER than a rectangle/square. I love doing non-traditional shaped card, so this challenge was lots of fun for me! Can you tell what I used? Yep! The Window Box Thinlits!

Stampin’ Details:
- I cut two pieces of the Window Box as shown below from Flirty Flamingo cardstock, then trimmed off all along the score lines, except for the “back” panel that I adhered together with Tear & Tape. I then taped that tab to the inside “top” so you didn’t see it so much when the card opened.

- I used the other “top” Window Box piece as a template and traced around it on Whisper White so it layered inside the base Window Box on the front.
- The greeting from Petal Palette was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the dotted image in Sahara Sand Ink around the background.
- The flowers were stamped on scrap Whisper White and colored with Flirty Flamingo and Wild Wasabi sponge daubers. They were cut out with the Petals & More Thinlits. It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
OK…make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team’s creations by continuing on with the blog hop…they will have some wonderful ideas! Next up is our Create with Connie & Mary website and then Mary Brown and her creative design!
