My BFF, Annette, sent me this REALLY cute birthday card that I just had to share! I’ve been wanting to try to make one of these, and now I have a visual template that I can use. This is a picture of it open, but it does collapse into a standard size card that will fit in a regular envelope. It is called a Tri-Shutter Card! Isn’t it so cute and cheerful?
The base of the card is Real Red cardstock and I know she used the retired Summer Picnic Designer Paper for the cherries print and blue dotted print. The Ice cream sundae and greeting "Happy Birthday with a cherry on top" is from Goody Goody Gumdrops, a Level 3 hostess set right now. She punched the greeting with the Large Oval and layered it on the Scallop Oval and then the Wide Oval punch. The cherries on the front were done with 1" circle punches, the Crop a Dile and the Bird with Leaves & Flower die! So CLEVER!
Anyway…I LOVE it…thanks so much for thinking of me, Annette, and sharing in my birthday celebration!
I finished up working on one small swap yesterday and need to crank out my big 30 card one today. Then I need to start planning my Punch Card class next week! Have a wonderful day!

I’m glad you like the card. It’s all Stampin’ Up! The cherries are 1″ circle punches with a little “bite” from the Crop-a-Dile. The stem is a Sizzix Die (bird with leaves and flowers). I was amazed at how well it matched the paper.
Hope you have a wonderful birthday week celebration!
