C is for Cat

August 9, 2009 By Connie | 2 Comments

Today I’m headed back…Convention is over for another year.  So sad to say goodbye.

The Cat is back!  lol!  Yes, this is a fun set to use.  I paired it up with Nouveau Chic Designer Paper this time!  This is the second one of my swap cards for the SSUS (Sensational Stampin’ Up! Swappers) organized swap I did on Wednesday at lunch.

I started with a base of Basic Gray and layered on Sage Shadow.  I used a piece of the Nouveau Chic Designer Paper across the center with a Very Vanilla Eyelet Border punch.  The cat is stamped in Basic Gray on Very Vanilla and layered on Basic Gray.  C is for Cat is stamped with Basic Gray on Very Vanilla, punched with the 1" circle and layered on a Basic Gray 1 1/4" circle.  The saying and paw print and stamped with Basic Gray also.

I think it turned out cute!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 19 years and had my 18th year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!

Beutiful card and the sentence on it is right .
As a cat ‘s owner,I agree that nobody owns a cat, that’s the opposite.

I think it turned out cute, too! I love that set… of course, I love cats. Very cool pairing it with that fantastic DP. That just might have to go on my shopping list next time.
