I still have LOTS of these Pick your Poison Quick Accents left over, even after I used a BUNCH of them on my Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition project that subscribers got to see! So, when I saw Week 1's Sketch Challenge Card, I knew I had one that would fit it perfectly!
And here is my card using the sketch!
I started with a base of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I layered on a panel of Basic Black down the center. On top of it, I added some Quick Accent Strips from the Pick Your Poison package in varying widths. I cut the scallop square with the Scallop Squares Duo #2 die and embossed it with the Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate inked with Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink. Inside is a layer of Basic Black and then the Pick Your Poison accent in the center. I decided to punch out the words with the 1 1/4" Circle and layer it on top of a 1 3/8" Pumpkin Pie circle that is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. As luck would have it, I had ONE spider left from the Quick Strip, so I cut it out and placed it by the word, Elixir. There is a Rhinestone Jewel on his body.
I used the Crop a Dile to punch a hole in the frame and wrapped the Black Taffeta Ribbon around to tie a bow. I think this turned out pretty cool looking! I love those labels in the Quick Accents package!
