Have you ever had a Dreamsicle Martini??? YUMMY!!! So, this is in rememberance of the one I had a few months ago! lol!
I love the Polka Dot Designer Paper in the new catty! If it had STRIPES on the other side, I would have been in Designer Paper heaven…but the polka dots on one side and circles on the other side are cute anyway. I started with a base of Real Red cardstock and layered on Whisper White. I added a strip of Pumpkin Pie Polka Dot DSP, then a pennant made from Real Red circles DSP. I stamped the greeting in the lower left corner with Basic Grey.
I made the focal element with the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlet Die out of Basic Gray. I added a 1 3/4" circle of Whisper White, then punched out half of the 1 3/4" circle of Real Red for the "table" for the glass to sit on. I stamped the martini glass in Basic Grey on Whisper White and cut it out, then stamped it again with Versamark on the Polka Dot DSP. I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder to make the drink "shiny", then placed it in the glass. I added an orange slice in the glass and one along the base of the glass. It's all popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals!

Besides being utterly darling – I like the touch of adding a red tablecloth underneath the glass. I wouldn't have thought of that. The card design is perfect proportions, color choices with a little bit of vintage and a lot of whimsey. Nicely done.
