It's time for another pretty color challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary! Our Challenge Team has really come up with some DIFFERENT ideas for these colors! Check them out over on Create with Connie and Mary!
And here is my card! I kept it pretty simple and let the Watercolor Wonder and small flower to all the work! And, Mary reminded me how much I like the Label Bracket turned a quarter turn on its' side!
Here are the details:
- The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Smoky Slate, folded in half.
- I added a 4 x 5 1/4 layer of Whisper White and added a 3 1/2 x 4 piece of Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper to the bottom. I love this stripe!
- To cover the seam, I placed the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon across and secured in the back.
- I punched the Label Bracket from Island Indigo cardstock and adhered on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals. In that I added a 1 1/4 Circle of Smoky Slate.
- I stamped the Petite Petal flower with Daffodil Delight on Whisper White, then punched with the Petite Petals punch. In the center is an Island Indigo Candy Dot. It is placed on top of the circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- I stamped Wish Big from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set in Island Indigo ink above the ribbon.
-
I thought it still needed something, so I tied some Island Indigo Bakers Twine around the Daffodil Delight Ribbon and tied a bow! I think it added just the right amount of glam!

I love this card Connie! The flower label accent looks perfect with the striped watercolour paper. I'm off to see if I can recreate that accent!

So interesting how changing the card base color makes the colors appear soft instead of bright! Love how soft your card is!! And that punch does look great turned on its side! Love this!!

Before I read your post I stared at the card trying to figure out what you used as a layer behind the flower. My mind never registered Artisan Label punch. That is such a cool way to use this punch! Love it!
