Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Happy”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
UNIQUELY ARTISTIC
I recently attended Stampin’ Up!’s OnTour Online Event and I received this pretty floral set, Uniquely Artistic, that is in the upcoming Annual Catalog!! PLUS, I got my hands on the new Annual Catalog! So many wonderful new things available to order on May 3!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Soft Succulent cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Polished Pink cardstock was centered on front.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock was scored along the left side at 3/4, 1, and 1-1/4 to give it some texture.
- The greeting from Honeybee Home stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink.
- The flower was stamped twice full-strength with the detail stamp and Polished Pink Ink, then stamped off with the background stamp on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut. The center was colored with the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
- The leaves were stamped three times full-strength with the detail stamp and Soft Succulent Ink, then stamped off with the background stamp on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut.
- One of the flowers was trimmed to three petals and then the petals curled and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals overlapping to look like one larger flower.
- The leaves were added under the flower.
- A trio of green In Color Jewels were added to the background. I’m going to miss these SO much, they have such a pretty sparkle!
