Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This is the last week for our theme of “NEW” cards…let’s use some of the new products in the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and SAB Catalog on our cards!
JUNGLE PALS
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White was sponged in the middle with Pool Party Ink and the greeting from Heartfelt Hellos was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink.
- A 1 x 5 strip of Flight & Airy DSP was added to the bottom of the Basic White layer.
- The greenery was cut with the Jungle Pals Die from Mossy Meadow cardstock, the flowers from Poppy Parade cardstock. They were adhered to the front.
- The alligator was stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink then colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. He was cut out with the Jungle Pals Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two Pool Party Opaque Faceted Gems (SAB) were added to the center of the flowers.
