Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Party Time”! My husband is retiring August 1st and I definitely think that calls for a party, don’t you? Life will look a little different around here, I’m sure!
SUNRISE SAILING
We’ve had several ski boats, but never a sailboat! I still like this Sunrise Sailing Bundle and think my husband will appreciate this card anyway!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Balmy Blue cardstock was stamped across the bottom with the water image in Balmy Blue Ink.
- A 3 x 5-1/4 piece of Splendid Autumn DSP was added across the top. Two birds were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink in the upper left corner.
- A 3/4 x 2-3/4 strip of Basic White cardstock was stamped with Happy Retirement from Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink and added to hide the DSP seam.
- The sailboat was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White cardstock, the striped sails with Balmy Blue Ink and the hull of the boat with Crumb Cake Ink. It was cut with the Sunrise Sailing Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
