Today is Day 2 of PREVIEW WEEK over on Create with Connie and Mary! Melissa Davies is a FULL TIME Designer for us this edition! We are SO excited to have her on board! She has a Halloween Tower of Treats project with FREE TUTORIAL to share with you today, so check it out over there. AND…she is offering BLOG CANDY, so find out how you can be entered into her drawing over on Create with Connie and Mary blog, too! Here's a sneak peek of HER project!
I think Googly Ghouls is becoming one of my favorite Halloween sets…and that is saying a LOT because I love Halloween sets! The little Goggly eyes that Stampin' Up! came out with this year are just SO much fun…and they are adhesive backed for EASY placement! Here's a quick and easy card that I did using Googly Ghouls!
This will help you use up some of those scraps of designer paper, too! I had these little rectangles of 3/4" paper left over from a project. I lined them up in a row…alternating the pattern from side to side for a little interest. I adhered them to Tangerine Tango cardstock, and layered that on Basic Black. All of it was placed on a base of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Then I inked the Halloween greeting from Seasonal Sayings in Tangerine Tango (using a Lucky Limeade marker on the jack-o-lantern stem) and stamped on Very Vanilla, I layered it on Basic Black, too. Then I stamped Frankenstein from Googly Ghouls in Black Stazon on Very Vanilla, cut him out and added him to the front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I colored his face and hands with a Lucky Limeade marker and added googly eyes!
lol…so much FUN!!! Did I mention that I LOVE this set?
OK….make sure to check out Day 2 over on Create with Connie and Mary and get your name in a drawing for a FREE subscription to Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition, PLUS grab that FREE TUTORIAL!
The card is so cute….love how you used those scraps!
Okay, that tower of treats is just "spook"tacular! I love the idea! The mix of colors and patterns is fantastic.
SQUEEEE!! I finally got around to ordering this set and can't wait to play with it when it gets here on Wednesday!
Your card is SO cute!!
What an adorable card, Connie! It is so cute! And a great way to use up scraps. Thanks for your help with my comment section.
This card is great. Love that little guy, but I am falling more and more in love with the DSP.
