Fun and Fast Notes 2

April 5, 2010 By Connie | 1 Comment

I made a second shower card from Stampin' Up!'s Fun & Fast Notes since I had all the materials out and knew I'd need another one next month.  I keep saying I'm going to be like stamper, Michelle Wooderson, and make 4 each time I do up a sample, so I'll have plenty of cards on supply to use myself and to sell…but I always forget!  lol!

Again, I used her colors with the base of Kraft cardstock and layered on Brocade Blue that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder.  I stamped the cakes from Fun & Fast Notes in Craft Black Ink on Shimmer cardstock and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  I watercolored with the AquaPainter and Stampin' Write markers.  I added some glue and Dazzling Diamonds along the scallops.  This was layered on Basic Black.

I wrapped the White Satin Ribbon around and tied on a separate bow on the front.  I stamped the greeting from a retired set, Wedding Day, and punched with the Curly Label, then layered on the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die.

The shower on Saturday was beautiful and we had a nice relaxing time!  We are planning on finishing up the Wedding Invitations over the next two days while my son is working.  I actually see a light at the end of the tunnel!  Woohoo!  PLUS, I'm so excited that my Summer Mini preorder will be there today!  I can't wait to play!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 19 years and had my 18th year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!
