Very quick post here. I made a few of these little chicks to send out for my Easter cards this year. I think they are SO cute! Not my original idea…just adapted from a few different ones I saw. EDIT: Just found the person who inspired me…Laurie from Inspired Dreams! Mine are held together a little differently, I creased the back scallop so the front folds up instead of holding it together with the ribbon. And, I just noticed that I didn’t take a picture after I finished their eyes! Oh my! Only one of them has the highlights in their eyes…oops!
My parents 50th wedding anniversary is also today! We are getting together for Easter dinner here and will have a mini celebration. Then when our oldest son comes in town in a couple weeks, we will go out to dinner with the entire family. They don’t want a "party". I’ll post my Golden Wedding Anniversary card tomorrow!
Have a wonderful Easter!

too cute, connie! I had full intentions on making some cute Easter goodies for friends and family, but Hope’s teachers, therapists, and classmates was as far as I got! maybe next year…..or the next holiday!

Thanks for stopping in and leaving me a comment tonight Connie. I too creased the back scallop, more so that the card would open nicely and sit nicely too! They were just the “funnest” to make.
