Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week we have some delicious looking cookies for our inspiration!
HELLO LADYBUG
OK, really…what other stamp set could I possibly use for this challenge? I had to use Stampin’ Up!’s Hello Ladybug! I think Mary planned it that way, don’t you?
Stampin’ Details:
-
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form the base card.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Hive Embossing Folder.
- The ladybug body is punched from Basic Black cardstock with the Ladybug Builder Punch. The wings were stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White cardstock and the spots with Memento Black Ink and were also punched.
- The bee body is punched from Basic Black cardstock and two 1/4″ strips of Daffodil Delight cardstock adhered over top, then trimmed around the body shape. The wings were punched from Vellum Cardstock and added with a touch of Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
- One flower was stamped with Real Red Ink and the other with Daffodil Delight Ink on Basic White. The leaves are the wings stamped with Granny Apple Green and punched, then cut apart so I could place them closer together. The centers are 1/2″ circles punched from Daffodil Delight and Real Red cardstock.
- The bug me greeting was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock with the label from Bouquet of Love dies and Memento Black Ink.
- All the pieces were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Love my little bugs! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!
