Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. Oh, a fun balloon bouquet this week…perfect for a graduation party, don’t you think?
BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS
I went with my thought of a graduation balloon bouquet…my kids had something very similar on their graduation party tables! I thought it worked out really well!
-
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Blueberry Bushel cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was added on top.
- The 1-1/4 x 4 strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP was added across the front.
- The 1 x 4 strip of Crushed Curry was cut with the fringe die in Beautiful Balloons Dies, the ruffled with my fingernail. It was added under the DSP slightly.
- The bottom portion of the tag from the Beautiful Balloons Dies was cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock to form the balloon “box”. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three Crushed Curry and three Blueberry Bushel balloons were stamped on Basic White cardstock. The greeting was added with Blueberry Bushel Ink to one Crushed Curry balloon. They were cut with the Beautiful Baloons Dies and added to the front.
- The festoon tails were cut from Crushed Curry cardstock and tucked between the balloons.
- Three of the yellow Glossy Dots were added to the balloons and box.
Isn’t that fun? Personalize it with the school colors that you need and it would be perfect! And…just wanted to say that I had a HARD time doing these colors…Go Buckeyes! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!
