Jar of Haunts

September 5, 2016 By Connie | 1 Comment

The pumpkins pattern in the Halloween Fright Designer Paper reminded me of candy shaped pumpkins…so that led me to use this Jar of Haunts stamp set with the candy corn inside!  While not exactly how I pictured it in my head, it did turn out ok, I think!

Jar of Haunts

Here are the details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Smoky Slate, folded in half.
  • On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pumpkin Pie, the 2 x 5-1/4 strip of Halloween Fright Designer Paper was layered onto a 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic Black cardstock.
  • A 1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of coordinating Halloween Fright DSP was added across the front.
  • The Basic Black/Smoky Slate Baker’s Twine was wrapped around 3 times and then tied in a bow.
  • The jar, candy corn and greeting from Jar of Haunts was stamped with Memento Black on Whisper White then cut with the Everyday Jar Framelits.
  • The lid was cut from Smoky Slate, then sponged with Smoky Slate Ink and added to the top of the jar.  The jar was added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some black sequins from the Metallic Sequins package were added on the front for a little bling!

Hope you like it!  Happy stampin’ today!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 19 years and had my 18th year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!
