October 2014 Tour de Freaks – For All Things

Woohoo! It’s time for the October Tour de Freaks…brought to you from the Control Freak Swappers! Our theme this time is Gratitude and Fall. I know the tree colors in Ohio are gorgeous right now! Love those Sugar Maple Trees! You may have just come from Melissa Davies’ blog…weren’t her projects fun? If you have arrived prior to the 20th, not all links may be working yet.

I decided to use For All Things stamp set from the Holiday Catalog along with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch for my projects, with touches of Color Me Autumn Designer Paper. The first thing is a Bag-a-loupe made from the Polka Dot Tag a Bags. I added the fan fold at the top and secured it with some Linen Thread. Yes, to get into the bag, they will need to cut or tear (gasp!) the bag! Those little wood accents I tied on the tag are just the perfect touch, aren’t they?

The leaves were stamped in Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry…perfect fall colors!

The base of the card is Mossy Meadow with a Crumb Cake layer. The tag is cut from Soft Suede. I used the Color Me Autumn Designer Paper for accents.

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 23 years and just had my 22nd Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May.
