Oval All

April 6, 2009 By Connie | 1 Comment

Yes!  This set, Oval All, is in the new Occasions Mini and I love it.  All four sayings line up perfectly with the new Scallop Oval Punch (or you can use the Large Oval Punch and then mat with the Scallop Oval punch).  This punch and set is definitely a MUST HAVE for your stamping arsenal!

I was using up some more of my Urban Oasis scraps and cut this one with the Top Note Die.  The base card is Baja Breeze, then a layer of Whisper White.  I wrapped the White Taffeta around the DSP Top Note and layered on the Whisper White.  Finally, stamped the Fabulous friends in Not Quite Navy on Whisper White and punched with the Scallop Oval punch, added a mini brad and popped it up with dimensionals.

Huh…I just realized that my ribbon is not laying flat…oh well…lol!

Have a great week…I need to get ready for my Techniques Class on Tuesday night!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 17 years and just had my 16 year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!

Love the simplicity of this, Connie – and for non-scrappers, like me, it’s a great way to use those scrapbook-type sheets in our DP packs! Thanks so much for sharing – I’m going to take this (and also some of the large sheets from Urban Garden) as a shoebox swap for a meeting at my upline’s. I’ll give you full credit!
