SNSS – You Light Up My Life

September 1, 2009 By Connie | 11 Comments

I love this snowman image from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps called You Light Up My Life!  See the little cardinal on his twig arm?  Too cute!  It is one of the new stamps in the mini winter release starting today!  You can see them HERE.  To celebrate, we’ve put together a mini blog hop for you to see some examples using the two new sets.

For my card, I stamped the snowman image in Memories Black ink, then colored with my Copics.  The white panel is layered on Basic Black.  Then I added a strip of Holiday Lounge Designer Paper layered on Real Red.  Finally, I used the large Snowflake punch from Sahara Sand and placed a red Rhinestone brad in the center.  I added a couple glittery snowflakes I had in my "stash" to the top left corner.

We’re celebrating this mini release
with a 1-day blog hop TODAY!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 19 years and had my 18th year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!

I love your coloring of this sweet image and your cool DP!

I’m so sorry SU is taking the stand they are and that have to drop out of the DT. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’m leaning toward giving up SU. As a hobbiest, it makes the most sense for me, but I’m sure sorry to let it go after all these years (sigh).
