It's time for another Stamping 411 sketch for this Saturday! Well, I loved the sketch, but I struggled with the colors on this one. I had something pictured in my mind, but the end result wasn't the same. I think it is the white against the bright colors that is throwing me off. But…it is done! I actually finished it last weekend at the stamping retreat, and kept thinking I'd redo it, but never got around to it. I will be trying the sketch again, though!
I started with a base of Crushed Curry and added the Whisper White on top. I pulled out Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper and used several of the patterns for the different pieces the sketch required. I wrapped some Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon around and secure to the back of the Whisper White. I used the reverse side so the Polka Dots didn't compete with the designer papers.
Finally I stamped the flower image in Certainly Celery, then used my markers and stamped it again with Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry, then cut out the blossom and placed it on the stem. I stamped Hello in Rich Razzleberry and punched with my Small Oval Punch.
I'm anxious to see what the rest of the Stamping 411 operators did this week! Have a great weekend!
I think it's really cute and full of spring! Beautiful job..
