The Great Outdoors

The Great Outdoors was TOP of my list to purchase…a great masculine set for my family who like campfires, camping and sitting at games in camp chairs!  I made this one up for my dad's birthday!  Since June is a crazy month for us with lots of birthdays, anniversaries and Father's Day, we picked the last Sunday in June to celebrate all of them.  He'll get this on Sunday!  My kids can remember MANY, MANY weiner roasts over a fire with their grandpa at the Lake House.

 

 

I started with a base of Midnight Muse (yes…I'm really LOVING this new shade of dark blue!)  I added a layer of Crumb Cake.  On top of that I layered more Midnight Muse cut on each long end with the new Finishing Touch edge.  I added World Spectacular Designer Paper pattern and a little Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon across the bottom.  I stamped the campfire image and weiner stick with Black Stazon on Whisper White and cut it with the Label Framelit.  I colored with Stampin' Write Markers in Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.  The weiner is Calypso Coral with Crumb Cake over top.  Hmmm, this is making me hungry!  I love burnt hotdogs!  lol!

 

I hope to get lots done today…Convention is coming up FAST and I have lots of swaps to make, plus finish up a couple more projects for Create!  Busy, busy!
