This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Designer Paper as the focus on our cards!

FLORAL DELIGHT DSP

I have made this type of card before and it features the DSP peeking out of panel on the front and the reverse side shows on the inside of the card.  I thought it would be a great use of the DSP for this challenge!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 6-3/4 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.  Then cut off 1-3/4.  Stamp the greeting from Comforting Thoughts with Old Olive Ink on the cut-off piece.
• Cut two 1/2 x 5-1/2 strips of Old Olive cardstock and adhere one to the short panel on the front of the base card and one on the left side of the cut-off piece.
• Add a 2 x 5-1/2 piece of Floral Delight DSP behind the Old Olive strip on the base card.  Then match up the ends of the cut-off piece with the back of the base card and adhere the cut-off piece over the DSP.
• Cut the large and two small flowers from Daffodil Delight cardstock and the leaf from Old Olive cardstock using the Happy Hibiscus Dies.  Add to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Add two small and 1 large Pecan Pie and Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots to the center of the flowers.
