Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week we have a fun throw pillow! What catches your eye first? The ivory flowers, the yellow medallions or the smaller black medallions? The ivory flower with the blue centers is what I see first!
FLOWERS OF FRIENDSHIP
I had to go looking thru my stash of current stamp sets to find a flower that I thought would work! I haven’t used my Flowers of Friendship stamp set and coordinating punch much, but thought it was a great choice with the perfect sized flower!
Stampin’ Details:
-
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Tahitian Tide cardstock was added on top.
- A 6″ piece of Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon was wrapped to the back of the 3-3/4 x 5 Daffodil Delight cardstock towards the bottom.
- The flower from Flowers of Friendship was stamped nine times with Daffodil Delight Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then punched with the Flowers & Leaves Punch. They were spaced evenly and added to the front.
- 3/8″ circles were cut from Tahitian Tide cardstock and added to the centers.
- The greeting from Flowers of Friendship was stamped with Tahitian Tide Ink on scrap Very Vanilla, then cut with the new Stylish Shapes Dies. It was added over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
OK…do you think it looks like the inspiration piece? I do! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!
