Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.
HEARTS & HUGS
I made up this quick card using the Hearts & Hugs Bundle! SO easy! Love these sweet badgers hugging!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of To Market Designer Paper was added down the left side.
- A coordinating 3/4 x 3-1/2 pattern from To Market DSP was added across the bottom and the end cut at an angle.
- The badgers were stamped with memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with the Gray Granite Combo, Light Basic Black, Light Bubble Bath and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. They were cut out with the Hearts & Hugs Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Thanks from Hearts & Hugs was stamped with Real Red Ink on 1/2 x 1-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the end cut at an angle.
- A trio of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added to the background.
