This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is “fall colors”. Don’t you just LOVE this time of year in the Midwest with all the leaves changing colors? Although it IS a big cooler than I like!
QUIET MEADOW
I know I’ve mentioned that Blackberry Beauty DSP really didn’t appeal to me when I first saw it in the catalog. The color combination is just not one I would have put together. However, once I received it, I fell in love! It is GORGEOUS!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Blackberry Bliss cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock.
- A 3-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Blackberry Beauty DSP was added towards the left side.
- Another 2 x 4 piece of Blackberry Beauty DSP was added across the front.
- The branch from Meadow Dies was cut from Rose Gold/Gold Metallic Paper and added to the front.
- Happy Fall Y’All from Banner Year was stamped with Cinnamon Cider Ink on Very Vanilla, then cut with the label from the Meadow Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Simply Elegant Gold Trim was tied in a bow and added to the front with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Three Brushed Metallic Dots were added to the background.
