Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a fish print.
GONE FISHING
I’ve used this Gone Fishing Bundle for several projects…including my grandsons’ birthday parties! So, I pulled it out to use again for this week’s Inspiration Monday Challenge since it will be retiring soon. It does make great masculine cards. I’ll probably keep it in my stash for a while longer.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lost Lagoon was added on top.
- The 3 x 5-1/4 layer of Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper was cut with the water wave Gone Fishing Die across the top and added to the front approx. 3/4″ from the top.
- A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of Crumb Cake cardstock was torn across the top, sponged with Crumb Cake Ink and stamped with the Happy Retirement greeting. It was adhered across the bottom.
- The “seaweed” was cut with the Textured Floral Die from Pecan Pie cardstock and sponged with Garden Green Ink. They were tucked into the top of the sand with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three fish were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Light Lost Lagoon, Light Wild Wheat and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Die and adhere between the seaweed with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background around the fish.
