It's THURSDAY! TIme for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! AND…we have a SURPRISE this week! Did you see our NEW LOOK over on Create with Connie and Mary? Isn't it wonderful! Puts me right in the holiday spirit…and makes me wish I had a holiday card for this week. Oh well, I think it is a little early for the holidays, but it is EARLY BIRD SPECIAL time for the new Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition 2012! This edition is going to be FABULOUS like usual! We have our awesome Design Team returning! WOOHOO!

But…here is the wonderful COLOR CHALLENGE for this week's Thursday Challenge…grab your stamps and play along!
I decided to use Serene Silhouettes for my card…I just recently purchased it!
I think it makes a really nice late summer card…the colors are vibrant! I started with a base of Gumball Green. I added some of the Comfort Cafe Designer Paper in the chevron pattern and layered that on Midnight Muse. I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and used the Finishing Touch Edgelit and piercing template on it. Then I wrapped the Midnight Muse Ribbon around and secured it in the back.
I stamped the flower image using my Gumball Green and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Markers on Whisper White cardstock. I layered it on more Midnight Muse cardstock. Finally, I stamped the other image (with the branches and birds) in Gumball Green on a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight, then punched it with the Butterfly Punch…gives it a little interest without using another stamp set! I added a trio of Rhinestone Jewels for the body, and added the Thank You greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
