It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  It’s a sketch challenge this week to inspire you!

BOTANICAL LAYERS

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
• A 4 x 4 piece of Brights 6×6 Designer Paper was cut to 4 x 4, then cut in half diagonally and added to the top of the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock.
• The circle was cut with the Deckled Circles Die from Basic White, then stamped with the larger leaf stem in Lemon Lime Twist Ink towarsd the left and the Botanical Layers greeting with Pretty Peacock Ink at the upper right.
• A 1/2 x 2-1/4 piece of Brights DSP was added towards the bottom.
• The spiky branch was stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink on scrap Basic White and hand cut, then added over the DSP strip and hanging off the bottom edge.
• Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
• Some Opaque Faceted Gems (SAB) were added to the branches and background.
• Two dragonflies from Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds (Online Exclusive) were added in the background.
