Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is an array of fruit!

STORYBOOK GARDEN PATCH

I looked thru the current sets that I have with me and found this little strawberry image in the Storybook Garden Patch stamp set.  I paired it with a SAB product, Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP, that you can earn for FREE with a $60 order during January and February!  I decided on a gatefold card so I could show off a couple different patterns of the DSP…the prints are SO fun!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Coastal Cabana cardstock, scored at 3 and 7-1/4.
• A 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Fruit Salad DSP was added to the left panel and a 1 x 5-1/4 piece of coordinating Fruit Salad DSP was added to the right panel.
• The frame was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Storybook Friends Die.
• A 1-5/8 x 2-1/8 piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock was stamped with the greeting from Layering Leaves in Memento Black Ink and adhered behind the opening of the frame.  The frame was attached only to the left panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The little strawberry cluster from Storybook Garden Patch stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Real Red and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  It was cut with the Storybook Garen Patch Dies and added to the corner of the frame with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

• Inside a 3/4 x 5-1/4 strip of the same Fruit Salad DSP was added to the left side of a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
• The same strawberry cluster was stamped and colored as the one on the front.
• The Basic White panel was adhered to the inside.

 

The Fruit Salad DSP definitely does most of the work, but I like the added touch of the strawberry cluster! OK, check out Debbie’s Inspiration Monday card over on Create with Stamping Friends!
