Hello! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Here’s a pretty color combination this week…love the sparkle of gold!
BLESSINGS OF HOME
When I feel like coloring, the Blessings of Home stamp set is PERFECT! I especially love this smaller image. I finally broke down and bought the Scallop Contour Dies from the Annual Catalog…I love the scalloped edges on these rectangles.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base.
- Two 1 x 5-3/8 pieces of Abstract Beauty DSP were added to the front towards the left side.
- A 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Soft Succulent cardstock was added across the front.
- A 1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Gold Metallic Paper was added over it.
- A piece of Basic White cardstock was cut with the Scallop Contour Die and stamped with the image from Blessings of Home in Memento Black Ink. It was colored with Calypso Coral Combo, Soft Succulent Combo and Light Saffron and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Thank You greeting from Blessings of Home stamp set, was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White, and the Thank You trimmed off. It was added over the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some gold Simply Elegant Trim was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
