Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had our downline meeting yesterday…our Convention Round Up…always fun to see stamping friends and do great M&T projects.
So…we are on Part 5 of my wedding projects. This was the most time-consuming of all of them. We did over 240 of these favor boxes…somehow we lost count and actually did about 30 more than we needed! But…at the time, we didn't have an exact number of how many were coming. Allie and her mom were a big help with these. Allie and I sat and cut and embossed them all, then a couple of Allie's cousins helped to put them together. I went back and tied on the tag with ribbon. We filled them with the miniature Smooth and Creamy pastel candies…YUMMY!
I used the Candy Wrapper L Bigz Die in the Big Shot with Melon Mambo cardstock. I then put it back thru the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines Impressions Folder to emboss. TIP: Before putting in to emboss, I creased all the main score lines to make sure that the embossing folder didn't obliterate the score lines. This made it easier to put them together.
I wrapped the Navy Polka Dot Ribbon around and tied on a Decorative Label Punch with their monogram. We had a second tag underneath that said "Thank you for sharing in our special day" that you can't see in this picture.
Here is what 220 of them look like in a plastic tub ready to go to the reception!
Love this picture…Ross's first look at Allie in her BEAUTIFUL dress coming down the aisle! She is gorgeous! The Best Man standing next to Ross is Adam, our oldest son who got married last year. The other groomsman smiling is Brad, Allie's twin sister's husband.
Then Ross and Allie at the altar. These photos were taken by a friend at the wedding.
Allie and my other daughter-in-law, Beth. Isn't her dress GORGEOUS!!! I have two beautiful daughter-in-laws now!
More photos tomorrow…are you sick of wedding stuff yet? lol!
I have only a couple more of the paper flowers left from the centerpieces in my last post! Hurry to place your $40 online or email order and get one FREE, plus the step-by-step directions!
