CCMC-NC3 Lollipop Flowers

It's time for the Create with Connie and Mary New Catalog 2012 Saturday Challenge. This challenge is only for subscribers of the New Catalog Edition, but we thought you'd enjoy seeing what the Design Team did! We have a THEME challenge this week…to use one of the wonderful new Big Shot products! It could be a folder, the framelits…whatever new Big Shot item in the New Catalog you want to use!

So, of course, I had to use my VERY FAVORITE Floral Frame Framelits and Chevron Folder! I love them! I've already used them a lot of different projects, but here is one more idea!

I made a Flower Lollipop from the Floral Frame Framelits and wonderful Polka Dot Designer Paper. I cut the middle sized and next to smallest flowers from the framelit with the DSP and coordinating cardstock. I cut between each of the petals, towards the center. I pierced a hole in the center large enough for the lollipop stick and tucked the lollipop down into it, securing with a few Mini Glue Dots. I scrunched the flowers up around the "bud" of the lollipop. Then I cut the next to largest flower size with Garden Green cardstock and cut off two of the petals to make leaves. I ran the leave thru the Big Shot with the Chevron Impressions Folder and adhered to the bottom of the flower with Mini Glue Dots.

These were pretty easy and simple to make, but a fun favor. Or make a bouquet of them!
