What a super little album. I would use it to store pics of my 4 grandchildren, especially the new 2 week old little one, and postage stamps and craft and grocery store coupons. So easy to find in your purse, and sure to draw lots of admiring comments!
Jodi C says
What a cute project, thank you for sharing. I will use this for my niece who is just beginning her chemo for Hodgkins Lymphoma and has a 6 week old baby. She’s documenting her treatments and I think this will be great to go with it; with pictures of the baby, her changes and thoughts and finally as she comes out of treatment (hopefully) cancer-free. Terrific project, thanks.

I can think of lots of uses for this little album. It would be great for grocery coupons, pictures, gift cards….all of the things everyone else has mentioned. I have a friend who house-sits for a number of people and this would be a great gift for her to use to keep track of her clients and dates. She could use one envelope per client and use the tag to enter the dates she “sits” for them. Thanks for sharing such a fun project!!

Connie,
I love this little album and Thank You for the directions. I can’t wait to make one of these for my Granddaughter that is starting her Junior year in high school and will also be going to the local community college full time (she’ll graduate high school with an AA). I’ll be putting in some cash (kids always want cash, right?) plus a couple of gift cards so she can buy food during her 3-hour break or maybe go to the bookstore and buy school related items … her choice. Thanks so much for this chance to win a free class. Have a great day!

Thanks for so generously sharing a tutorial for this cute little album. What a fabulous idea! Although you designed it for gift cards, it could hold small photos and memorabilia, too. It would also make a unique multi-layered card…with each tag holding another sentiment, stamped images or signatures…perfect for office retirement parties, bridal showers, etc. Thanks for the chance to win a free subscription!!
Sue Root says
This is such a cool album! It would be a great way to give multiple gift cards. Or it could be used to give a series of love notes (all from one person or maybe one each from a group of people). Lots of other great uses, too, but those are the first two I thought of that I might do.
Eileen McClean says
What a lovely idea and thank you so much for the tutorial! This is so epversatile, it could be used for a special gift ,. I would use it for my daughter and fill each tag with gifts that we would do together, she could pull out a tag and that would decide what we would do!!!

I’m always looking for great gifts to make for my co-teachers. This is going on my to-do list. Love it!

Thanks for the tutorial…its so pretty. My first thought is that it will make a GREAT recruiting tool. As I am talking about my business to someone, I pull out this booklet that I made, pull out one of my calling cards thats inside, and maybe another card for a free make & take. It will surely catch the eye of the prospective customer.
Joanne James says
What an adorable little mini album! I think I would make one for my mother-in-law who turns 70 in September and fill it with pictures of her grandchildren. And that’s just the first one – I can think of tons of uses for this cute book!
Carole Doody says
I love this little book. I would love to have grandchildren to use it for, but I know of several friends who could. My other thought, since I want to make one for myself too, is to use it to hold all of the punch art critters I make. Each envelope could hold different critter “families” with one on the outside of each envelope to tell what is in it, such as a chick, an elf etc. Thanks so much for the chance to see all of your creative ideas.
Linda Pagel says
Lovely journal!! It would be a great place to put pics from our recent trip to the UK. They have such fabulous flowers every where!!
Robyn Stahls says
Great work. Can’t wait for the summer projects to start.
Thanks so much for your hard work.
Carol Taggart says
I’d fill it with love messages & encouraging scriptural verses for my mother. She lives 5 hrs away & is now in an assisted living facility. Her birthday (95) is in two weeks, so maybe I’ll try to make one for her gift.
Jeanne Ann says
I am just discovering your wonderful blog and since I myself just became a SU Demonstrator I love what I have seen so far. I have two children than no longer live at home and I think this mini album would be a great way to say “Hi! I love you and I am thinking of you, and go eat on me!”
Alisha Linn says
So cute, Connie! I am going to create these for my two daughters this summer to record the special things we did together! You have a knack for cuteness! xoxxo
Cynthia Tuttle says
I would use the little notebook for my grandchildren’ s pictures. I would designate a pocket for each of my four grandkids and I would write something about each one on their tag. It would be a lovely keepsake that I could keep forever.
