This week’s CCM Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Fall Cards”.  It IS that time of year!  The weather around Ohio has really turned off cooler!

FOND OF AUTUMN

Here is my fall theme card using Fond of Autumn stamp set and the Celebrate Everything Designer Paper, which is a host only selection.  I love all the bright fun colors in this package!

 

 

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 2-5/8 x 5-1/4 piece of plaid Celebrate Everything DSP was adhered to the left side, and a 1-1/4 c 5-1/4 piece of leaf print was added to the right side with a small space between them.
• The Leaf Label was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Autumn Wishes from Fond of Autumn stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 1 x 3 Crushed Curry cardstock strip and the ends cut in a banner.  It was added over the leaf with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Some Linen Thread was doubled and tied in the hole in the leaf with a bow.
• Two leaves and the acorn from Fond of Autumn stamp set were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combos, then cut with the Autumn Bouquet Dies.  They were added to the leaf with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A trio of Amber Gems were added in the background.
