It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This month our challenges will be to “case the catalog”. Each week we have a new card design to inspire us taken right from the catalog…we could use the colors, the layout, or the stamp set and dies. I’ve chosen the layout for today’s card!
I just got my Leaves of Holly Bundle and couldn’t wait to play! This is my first card using it! The solid label shape worked perfectly!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- Six 1/2 x 3-1/2 strips of Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper were added across the front with the ends angled.
- The label from the Holly Berry Dies was cut from Garden Green cardstock and the backing for the leaves from Parakeet Party cardstock. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Leaves of Holly was stamped with Sweet Sorbet Ink and cut with the smaller label in the Holly Berry Dies. It was adhered on top.
- A trio of Seasonal Sequins were added to the background.
