It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a great color challenge for you using several of the new catalog colors!
TEXTURED FLORAL
I wanted to use something OTHER than the Cheerful Daisies Bundle with the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper to show that you can mix and match suites of products! I chose the Textured Floral Bundle for my flowers and think they blend really well with the DSP!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Moody Mauve cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP was torn across the top and added to the front.
- The Countryside Corners Die was cut from Bubble Bath cardstock and randomly stamped with the speckle stamp in the corners using Moody Mauve Ink.
- The smallest Countryside Corners Die was cut from Basic White cardstock and omit stamped with just the word SMILE from the greeting (use your Moody Mauve Inker to just ink up that word). It was added towards the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two of the smaller flowers were stamped with Bubble Bath Ink and centers with stamped-off Moody Mauve Ink. The two sets of leaves were stamped with Wild Wheat Ink
- Two large branches were cut from Moody Mauve cardstock, one was trimmed shorter. They were adhered around the greeting label.
- All pieces were added next to the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of In Color Dots were added to the background.
