It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. The month of July we do our Case the Catalog Challenges! These are always fun, and we love to see what the Challenge Team comes up with! They can copy the color combo, the stamp set, the layout…or any combination of the above! Lots of creative expression.
INKED & TILED
I had the focal flower image sitting on my desk from starting another project and thought it would be perfect for using on today’s Case the Catalog challenge!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3-7/8 x 5-3/8 piece of Inked Botanicals flower print is adhered on top.
- The flower and stems from Inked & Tiled were inked with Daffodil Delight, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped on Basic White. It was cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
- The splatter was added with stamped of Lost Lagoon Inks in the background.
- Three Inked & Tiled Punches were punched from Gold Distressed Paper and added to the background of the the Deckled Rectangle, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- One 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of yellow Inked Botanicals DSP and one 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Lost Lagoon Inked Botanicals DSP were added across the bottom at an angle.
- The greeting from Inked & Tiled was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Lost Lagoon cardstock, then punched with the Inked & Tiled Punch.
- A large loop bow was tied from black Essentials Baker’s Twine and added to the bottom with a Stampin’ Dimensionals, the punch piece was added over it.
- Three Tinsel Gems Three Pack were added to the background.
