CCMC790 – Inked and Tiled

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. It’s a bright color challenge to inspire you this week!

INKED & TILED

Once the mini comes out, I have a hard time going back and using the regular catalog items. So, for this challenge, I pulled out the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set and gave it a “fall” look with these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Starry Sky cardstock was added on top.
The 3 x 5-1/4 piece of O Holy Night Designer Paper was added on top.
The two smaller and one larger Deckled Circles were cut from Basic White cardstock. The leaves clusters were stamped on the smaller ones with Cajun Craze Ink.
The flower top was inked with Pumpkin Pie, the center with Cajun Craze Marker and the stem and leaf with Starry Sky Marker. An extra flower was added the same way.
Some speckles from Quiet Meadow Stamp Set were added with stamped off Starry Sky Ink.
The leaves circles were adhered to the front and the center circle was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems were added to the circles.
Happy Birthday from Inked & Tiled stamp set was stamped with Starry Sky Ink on 3/4 x 2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, cut the end at an angle and added with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

IM296 – Inked & Tiled

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. We have a beautiful cake to inspire you today.

INKED & TILED

The tile look on the cake reminded me of the Inked & Tiled punches, so I created some square tiles with the medallion punch in the center! I think I have the spirit of the cake, don’t you?

Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.\
- The front of the base card was embossed with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder.
- A 3 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White was torn down the middle. Versamark was applied along the edges, the embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. They were added to each side of the base card.
- The Countryside Inn Designer Paper was cut into two 2 x 2 squares. The Basic White cardstock was cut into two 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 squares and adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The medallion was punched from Daffodil Delight cardstock using the Inked & Tiled Punch. The center was stamped with the Inked & Tiled Flower in Daffodil Delight Ink. Happy Birthday was stamped with Misty Moonlight on one of the tiles. They were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A Boho Blue In Color Glossy Dot was added to the center of the tile.
- The gold Simply Elegant Trim was tied in a bow and added under the greeting with a Mini Glue Dot.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. The month of July we do our Case the Catalog Challenges! These are always fun, and we love to see what the Challenge Team comes up with! They can copy the color combo, the stamp set, the layout…or any combination of the above! Lots of creative expression.

INKED & TILED

I had the focal flower image sitting on my desk from starting another project and thought it would be perfect for using on today’s Case the Catalog challenge!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-7/8 x 5-3/8 piece of Inked Botanicals flower print is adhered on top.
The flower and stems from Inked & Tiled were inked with Daffodil Delight, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped on Basic White. It was cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
The splatter was added with stamped of Lost Lagoon Inks in the background.
Three Inked & Tiled Punches were punched from Gold Distressed Paper and added to the background of the the Deckled Rectangle, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
One 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of yellow Inked Botanicals DSP and one 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Lost Lagoon Inked Botanicals DSP were added across the bottom at an angle.
The greeting from Inked & Tiled was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Lost Lagoon cardstock, then punched with the Inked & Tiled Punch.
A large loop bow was tied from black Essentials Baker’s Twine and added to the bottom with a Stampin’ Dimensionals, the punch piece was added over it.
Three Tinsel Gems Three Pack were added to the background.

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. Isn’t this a pretty pastel wall hanging! I love that macrame has made a comeback!

INKED & TILED

I struggled with what set to use for this color challenge and finally decided on the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set! I think it worked out pretty well!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Tahitian Tide cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Naturally Gilded Specialty Designer Paper that was blended with Tranquil Tide Ink using the Blender Brush and adhered to the front.
- A 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Cherry Cobbler was added towards the right side.
- The Basic White inside of the Darling Details scallop frame was left over from another project, so I used it here. I inked up the flower image with Crushed Curry ink and highlighted portions with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker, then stamped.
- The bottom “ground” design was stamped off with Tranquil Tide Ink a couple times.
- Some Linen Thread was wrapped around the Basic White element several times and adhered in the back. It was then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A 7/8 x 2 piece of Tranquil Tide cardstock was stamped with the greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink, the end cut at an angle and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some In Color Pearls were added to the background.

I think this turned out pretty neat and a great use of that leftover frame insert! The Tranquil Tide really makes it pop! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!

Saturday Blog Hop – Birthday Bash

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week’s theme is “Birthday Bash”. Since it is my birthday this week, I thought it would be a PERFECT theme! And we can always use birthday card ideas, right? I love stamp sets that make creating easy…Inked & Tiled is one of those stamp sets! It comes with punches, but I didn’t even use those on this card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Majestically Made DSP was added to the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Sweet Sorbet cardstock, then to the front.
The largest Stylish Shapes Circle was cut from Basic White cardstock, then stamped with the flower cluster inked with Sweet Sorbet, Crushed Curry and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers. The circle was added to the front.
A 1/2 x 4 strip of Majestically Made DSP was added across the bottom.
Happy Birthday from Inked & Tiled was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Daffodil Delight, then hand-cut around it, and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added next to the greeting.
A trio of Old Olive Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were added to the background.
