It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. It’s another great sketch challenge this week! I love sketches as a “jumping off” point to get started on my card making!
FLUFFIEST FRIENDS
I had forgotten about this sweet little bunny in the Fluffiest Friends stamp set, but he makes a perfect little Easter Bunny! This card will go to my granddaughter…she’ll love the colors!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- Two 3/4 x 5-1/4 strips of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper were added to the right side.
- The 3 x 3-3/4 Basic White was blended with Pool Party Ink and a Blending Brush in the center, then Garden Green blended along the bottom.
- It was stamped with the Fluffiest Friends row of flowers along the bottom in Garden Green Ink. I used just the end of the “nest” image to make blades of grass along the bottom. They were colored with Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Happy Easter was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink in the upper left corner. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Thoughtful Expressions label was cut with the die from Bubble Bath Ink and cut in half, then added to the top of the Basic White, slightly hanging over the top.
- The bunny from Fluffiest Friends was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with Light Gray Granite and Light Bubble Bath and Light Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends, the cherry with Sweet Sorbet Blends. It was cut with the Fluffiest Friends Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I needed a little egg for her to hold in her hands…but didn’t have one that small. OK, go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary.
