It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. Isn’t this a pretty color combination?
PANSY PATCH
When the retirement lists come out, I like to go back through my stamps and use them a couple more times before they retire! This color combo was cool to use with Pansy Patch Stamp Set! Those little pansy faces are popping up all around here this spring!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Berry Blisscardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with the Pansy Patch greeting in the upper right corner with Berry Burst Ink.
- A 2 x 4 piece of Brights 6×6 DSP was added along the bottom.
- A 3/8 x 4 strip of Petal Pink cardstock was added to hide the seam.
- The pansy base was stamped off with Berry Burst Ink, the full strength for the darker detail. The center was stamped with Petal Pink and the “eye” with Basic Black Ink. They were cut with the Pansy Dies.
- The leaves were stamped off with Coastal Cabana Ink and the veins full strength for the darker detail. They were cut with the Pansy Dies.
- Some Linen Thread was wrapped in a circle several times and added to the front with the pansies and leaves added over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Glossy Dots Assortment were added to the background!
