Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “GREETINGS”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
I’ve used the Sweetest Cherries Stamp Set and Build a Cherry Punch for day’s Creatively Simple card. The background die is called Spit Card Textures and gives it SO much depth! Punching the cherries and leaves make it pretty quick, too!
SWEETEST CHERRIES
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was cut with the Split Card Textures Die, then adhered to the front.
- Sweet from Sweet Cherries Stamp Set was stamped with Garden Green Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock, then hand-cut around the letters and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Birthday Wishes from Sweet Cherries Stamp Set was stamped with Sweet Sorbet Ink under the Sweet greeting.
- Using the Build a Cherry Punch, two cherries were punched from Sweet Sorbet cardstock, two stems from Early Espresso cardstock, three leaves from Parakeet Party cardstock.
- The leaves were also stamped with the leaf veins in Garden Green Ink.
- All were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two small Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the punched cherries to finish it off.
