Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “GREETINGS”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
Wow! It has been a WHILE since I’ve used my Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set! But I wanted a stem of flowers that would “disappear” in the background and allow the greeting to be the focal point according to our Creatively Simple Challenge! It fit the bill!
DRAGONFLY GARDEN
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Parakeet Party cardstock was added on top.
- The 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the flower stems from Dragonfly Garden in Parakeet Party Ink.
- A 1 x 3-3/4 piece of In Color plaid Parakeet Party DSP was added across the front.
- The Decorative Circle was punched from Parakeet Party cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Dragonfly Garden greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the Stylish Shapes circle Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of In Color Matte Dots were added in the background.
